Meet The Dive Team - Dougie Kennovin

Dougie’s been around diving his whole life, starting at just 11 years old with both parents as BSAC instructors - it’s even how they met. But it was a six-week research trip to Egypt that truly sparked his passion and set him on the path to a career in diving.

What drives him most is the calm and connection to nature beneath the surface, along with the chance to share that experience with others. He’s especially passionate about diving here in Scotland - showing people that our waters are full of incredible life, even if it’s not always obvious from above.

He also thrives on the challenge that Scottish diving brings, and since joining the team, he’s already grown as both an instructor and a diver.
