Brittle Stars are found all around the UK coast, from rock pools to offshore depths of up to 85m! They come in all colours from brown to purple, red, orange and yellow!
These colourful creatures may be pretty but it's important that you look don't touch as they really do live up to their name by shedding parts of their arms when they are disturbed or feel under threat. Weird!
