Ship Wreck Saturday - Capernwray

Ship Wreck Saturday - Capernwray
Ship Wreck Saturday - Capernwray
This week on #shipwrecksaturday we have the popular Capernwray dive site with several accessible wrecks.

Capernwray is a popular inland dive site 2 1/2 hours away from Glasgow with a variety of underwater "transport" themed wrecks, including a Hawker Siddeley 748 aircraft, a Dickens Class Harbour minesweeper, and other smaller vessels. These wrecks, along with a large container for cave diving simulation, create an "underwater theme park" experience. Divers can also explore a gnome garden, Lord Lucan, and the "Thunderbird".

It's a fantastic dive site to run the PADI Wreck Diving Speciality in a safe, fun environment with several boats, planes and even helicopters to choose from.
